Gloucester County Home Brewers March 2010
|
|
This Month: The march meeting will be at Boardwalk Pizza on March 12th. February's meeting was the "Stuporbowl" party at Doc Blaises
house. Thanks for hosting the club! Unfortunately I didn't get to go but I hear it's an unnbelievable gathering.
Hopefully we'll hear some good stories at the March meeting. Sick of paying $15 for a bottle of iodophor sanitizer? I'm going to look into purchasing it in bulk.
I think we can get that big bottle down to about $5!!! I'll have an update at the next club meeting. If you need
sanitizer, bring your empty container so we can fill it up.

Club Talk:
The club purchased a 40 gallon kettle, a
210,000 btu burner, and a grain mill. We have a cooler mash tun to go with
it that will hold over 2 sacks of grain. If you would like to borrow this set up, please let me know. This is club equipment, intended for all of our members. Feel free to use any
of the equipment as much as you would like. If you would like us to purchase anything else for the members let us know. It looks like club membership is picking up. We had a few new members at Todd's
last month. Keep up the good work with the recruiting! Please
remember to return any growlers that you borrowed at the last meeting.
